Hey my loves!
Now I know it may be early for some but preparation is key when it comes to one of the most dressed up days in your life. That’s right, I’m talking about Prom. I personally never went to prom and I always kick myself that I didn’t. I would have loved to experience the whole ball gowns and balls kind of vibes. That’s why I’m going to give you some advice to ensure prom is one of the best days of your life. One you’ll never forget.
Finding the dress – Finding the dress is the hardest part, it has to be absolutely perfect and suit you down to a t. You first need to decide factors such as, is your dress going to be long or short. Is it going to be super glam or more minimal. These are all things that are going to need to be decided when choosing the perfect dress. I personally would write down your preference, colours, size etc before you even begin to look for a dress. Don’t forget that if you go to the shops to try on prom dresses, unless it feels seriously right don’t just buy the first dress you see. Try on a few and decide which one you feel more comfortable in.
Where to buy – Here is some links to some gorgeous prom dress sites which I personally really like the look of.
Picking a hairstyle – Picking a hairstyle can basically make your dress look even more gorgeous than it already does. It can compliment the style and your face beautifully. Again you need to decide what style you want, up- do or down- do. Curly or straight etc. Whatever you feel more comfortable with and something that won’t make you feel conscious because it’s out of your comfort zone. That’s why it’s best to get a trial if possible. If you’re not getting a trial then make sure to pick a style you know you’ll like. Google possible hairstyles to show your stylist. Google is your friend in this instance. It will give the stylist a visual representation of what you’d like.
Here’s some ideas!
